First Hamilton feature has over 110 000 admissions after the opening Week-end!

The first film about Secret Agent Hamilton is a hugh success with the Swedish audience.
"In the Interest of the Nation" directed by Kathrine Windfeld, was released with 173 prints
and had over 110 000 admissions in Sweden only during it's premiere week-end.
"In the Interest of the Nation", is the first film out in a trilogy based on the novels by Jan Guillou. The second film "But Not if it Concerns Your Daughter", directed by Tobias Falk will be released during the summer/fall of 2012.
All three films are produced by Pampas Produktion, Executive Producer Johan Mardell and Producer Jan Marnell, and present an internationally acclaimed cast, starring Mikael Persbrandt (The Hobbit, In a Better World) as Secret Agent Carl Hamilton.
SYNOPSIS
Masked soldiers attack a vehicle loaded with high-tech missiles in an attempted smuggling operation in Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, a Swedish engineer is kidnapped in Ethiopia. Hamilton is ordered to investigate the kidnapping and soon discovers an international arms conspiracy at top government levels, as well as plans for a terrorist attack on Swedish soil. His loyalties are tested, but the interest of the nation must come first.
