You Really Got Me
Pål Sletaune’s new black comedy You Really Got Me features, like Junk Mail, a brilliant cast of pathetic but noble characters who get caught up in Norway’s “kidnapping of the century!” First, there is Jan, the pitiful owner of a drab hamburger restaurant that no one ever enters.
Then there is Bent, the frustrated drummer of a rock band lead by rock star Iver Mo. And last, but not least, there are two hopelessly incompetent thugs who have been hired to kidnap Iver Mo. When everything that can go wrong does, Jan somehow finds Iver Mo and turns the “kidnapping of the century” to his advantage –in an unbelievable way.
