Tjorven, Båtsman and Moses
When Astrid Lindgren populates tiny Seacrow Island in the Stockholm archipelago with a gang of small children it becomes a magic place.
A island where pirates lurk, ships may be wrecked or treasure hidden, where fisherman can give a little girl a baby seal as a pet and try to steal it back when they discover they can actually sell it to someone else. The fisherman fail, of course, and to Tjorven (the girl) the seal becomes ”Moses”, because he was found floating on the water.
