The Color of Milk

The Color of Milk

A film about love and other natural disasters. The Color of Milk is a romantic comedy for both children and adults.

For Selma, love is disastrous, a natural catastrophe that took her mother’s life when Selma was born. But if love can’t be trusted, the intellect can. Science is the solution and a Nobel Prize is the goal. Determined not to have any interest in boys, her world is rocked when she meets Andy, who is also interested in science, or at least pretends that he is. But is it even possible to meet on a purely intellectual level when you are 12 years old and all your hormones are going berserk? The Colour of Milk deals with great existential questions with an undertone of black humour. And Selma’s constantly furrowed forehead and serious inner monologue are in sharp contrast to the breathtakingly beautiful scenery and the relaxed images of summer and holidays.
