Max & Josef ... double trouble!

Max & Josef ... double trouble!

The first Swedish film to mix human actors and computer-generated animation, Max & Josef... double trouble, is a stunning comedy about a little boy, his brand new sister and an evil tortoise - that talks.

When his mother gives birth it is not the football-playing brother young Max has always dreamed of, but a girl - Isabelle. And when his parents finally give him a pet, it is not the loyal, energetic dog of his dreams, but a tortoise – and, a tortoise with a serious attitude problem.

The closer Max gets to the scheming, manipulative little reptile the worst his relationship with his family becomes, until finally Max is persuaded that he has to choose: either it’s his family… or his tortoise.

Max & Josef... double trouble, is a wildly funny, touching comedy taking a light but wise look at sibling jealousy… and how to overcome it.
