The beautiful poet Clara falls in love with her married publicist John.
She leaves her jealous fiance to become John’s mistress and John starts to lead a double-life – one as a happily married family man, and one with Clara in the apartment he bought her. But suddenly Clara feels like someone is watching her and that she’s being stalked. By whom? And why?
