A Man There Was
Based on a poem by Henrik Ibsen, this drama captures the hardships of the Napoleonic Wars on a young fisherman, his wife and their newborn child.
Desperate for food, the fisherman attempts to elude the English blockade. Captured and imprisoned by the English, the fisherman is unable to return to his native village until after the war.
