Richard Hobert

Richard Hobert’s early work as a director garnered him a Best TV Feature Award at the Banff TV Festival in 1988 for THE TWELVE MONTHS OF SUMMER. Then in 1992 he won the Silver Prize at the New York International Film and TV Festival for his mini-series AGE UNKNOWN. His most awarded film remains SPRING OF JOY, which was the first in the series of “The Seven Deadly Sins”. SPRING OF JOY was a major hit at the Gothenburg Film Festival in 1994 where it garnered the Nordic Film Prize.
