While Johannes Runeborg is debuting as a full length motion picture director with Sleepwalker, he has already successfully worked behind the camera with other formats. Like many other talented young directors before him, Johannes took his first motion pictures with a super 8-camera. He has been quite successful with his short films winning numerous Swedish and international awards.

Since the mid 80’s he has worked within the business as an animator, trailer editor, at the censorship board, copywriter and film journalist to name a few. As a director he has visualised songs with (Swedish) artists Charlotte Nilsson, Magnus Uggla, Garmarna, Esbjörn Svensson’s trio and B.I.G.
