Christopher Panov (right) was born in 1978. As a child he borrowed Assen’s, his father, camera and filmed short movies, often with his father acting as director.
From the beginning, Christopher was more interested in acting, and at the age of sixteen landed his first film role as ”Gulan” in the Bullen series, ”Black Skulls and White Nights.” (”Svarta skallar och vita nätter”.) Christopher also joined Vår Theatre in Tensta, and it was there that he began to develop an interest in directing. He began by leading various theatre groups while at the same time acting with them, but eventually gave up acting in order to direct. He was accepted into Kulturama’s two-year film program where he met his “partner,” Christian. They shared an interest in dialog-motivated relations’ films as well as a fascination for actor, Kjell Bergqvist.
